About Me
Welcome to my portfolio! I am a recent graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, with a Bachelor of Science, Journalism, and a concentration in Public Relations.
I have the ability to create social media messages that can increase brand awareness and engagement that can lead to higher sales or increased participation in community outreach programs. I worked as a content producer for MTSU for two years, creating content for Instagram, Facebook, and our student-run blog, and ran a campaign to promote safe return practices after the coronavirus pandemic.
I completed an internship at the Tennessee Department of Agriculture where I developed videos and graphics to be used on social media channels for the Protect Tn Forests initiative.
These experiences taught me about social media analytics and effective content messaging as well as creating captivating graphics for use on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Snapchat. Professionally, these positions taught me how to time manage, work in teams and take pride and ownership in my work.
